New Texas REALTORS® Vice President of Operations/Chief Operating Officer David Jones has been involved in real estate his whole career. He grew up in a family of REALTORS® in Los Angeles, where he graduated from UCLA and Loyola Law School before taking over the family-owned real estate management business. After moving to Texas, Jones joined the Legal Department at Texas REALTORS® in 2016 and most recently served as Deputy General Counsel and Director of Professional Standards. He also represents Texas REALTORS® on the national level on NAR’s Professional Standards Committee and its Interpretations and Procedures Advisory Board.
Jones says his new role is all about ensuring that everybody has what they need to do their job. He looks forward to making sure “the staff has all the resources necessary to serve our members and that our members have the resources, in turn, to be able to serve their clients and their communities.”
