The Local Issues Program helps local associations that have identified local ordinances that could affect all Texas REALTORS® or property owners. Through the program, local associations may be allocated funding through the Texas REALTORS® Issues Political Action Committee, “TRIP” (formerly IMPAC), or receive assistance from the state association.

How the program works 

Any Texas REALTOR® can identify a local issue that could affect the real estate industry. However, all applications for funding must come through a local REALTOR® association. 

Consult your Texas REALTORS® Field Representative for assistance. 

if your application is approved, assistance may come in the form of political expertise, strategic guidance, marketing, and/or funding.
