The Texas REALTORS® Housing Opportunity Foundation is a 501c(3) charity promoting and encouraging workforce housing and homeownership opportunities in Texas. Since 2003, the foundation has provided financial support in the form of grants to individuals, firms, and organizations that encourage homeownership opportunities across the state. The foundation is funded through charitable donations and proceeds from the sale of specialty license plates offered through the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles.
The Texas REALTORS® Housing Opportunity Foundation grants fund several activities, including seminars, education, research, speaking engagements, and other programs. The grants awarded often support organizations that provide low income populations affordable housing, educational opportunities, and financial guidance in the homebuying process.
