Texas REALTORS® Updates

  • If you voted during primary elections, thank you! TREPAC and RPAC supported 75 contested races, with 57 wins and several candidates advancing to runoffs for an overall 84% win/runoff rate. Stay tuned to texasrealtorssupports.com for election results and more details on upcoming runoff races.
  • As announced during Winter Meeting, we’re working towards removing broker-to-broker compensation from the Texas REALTORS® residential listing agreement. Feel free to share the latest legal video to learn why.
  • Since receiving Board of Directors approval to modernize the Texas REALTORS® headquarters, we’ve been taking steps towards June construction. Feel free to refer to the HQ Modernization FAQs as you engage with members about this important project.
  • We’re in active engagement and discovery as we embark on the most comprehensive governance review in nearly 20 years.
  • Broker Roundtable sessions are underway, resulting in several actionable takeaways relating to communication, education, industry issues, technology, and more.

  • The 2025 Texas Real Estate Year in Review was published, informing members and the public that home prices in Texas increased in most markets last year though median price in our state dropped 1.2% 
  • Our 2025 Texas Real Estate Relocation Report was distributed to the media last month, showing that Texas had the second-highest share of state-to-state moves 
  • In a new Texas Homeseller Experience Report based on member surveys, we reported that multiple offers were still common for Texas home sellers in 2025   
  • We celebrated 2025 Texas REALTORS® Award Honorees in recent media announcements  
  • A press release on how High-Turnout Texas Primaries Deliver Wins for Pro-Property Rights Candidates was distributed following the elections
