The Commercial Committee helps members of Texas REALTORS® specializing in commercial real estate to make a positive impact on the industry through targeted education and advocacy that protects private property rights in Texas. Additionally, the committee evaluates and delivers commercial-specific benefits to strengthen the value and success of the association’s commercial membership.

Definition

Commercial real estate brokers are defined as, but not limited to, those who engage in the following areas of real estate business: industrial, office, retail, multifamily, land, development, resort, property management, consulting services, and non-residential sales and leasing.

Criteria

All members are chosen by the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Team. Committee members will serve one-year terms. Meetings are held via Zoom quarterly, with regular collaboration by email to develop and advance initiatives that support and strengthen our commercial efforts.
