The Global Committee helps members of Texas REALTORS® understand global real estate dynamics, recognize opportunities involved in international transactions, and encourage familiarity with global residential and commercial investments. It strives to promote education and networking to increase awareness of globally influenced markets and the nuances of working with global clients.
Definition
The Global Committee is composed of members committed to expanding international real estate opportunities and awareness within the REALTOR® community. This group focuses on fostering global partnerships, promoting cultural understanding, and supporting members who work with international clients. Areas of involvement may include inbound and outbound trade missions, global education, foreign investment trends, international networking, and collaboration with global partners such as AMPI and NAR Global.
Criteria
Committee members are appointed by the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Team and serve one-year terms. Meetings are held via Zoom quarterly, with regular collaboration by email to develop and advance initiatives that support and strengthen our global efforts.
