The Texas REALTORS® installed its 2018 officers during the Texas REALTORS® Conference in Dallas. The new leadership team will take office on December 1, 2017. Incoming officers include Chairman Kaki Lybbert of Denton, Chairman-Elect Tray Bates of Corpus Christi, Secretary/Treasurer Cindi Bulla of Amarillo, and Immediate Past Chairman Vicki Fullerton of The Woodlands.

“The continued strength of housing demand, job growth and quality of life in Texas has made our real estate market critical, especially in a time of resilience,” said incoming Chairman Lybbert. “Texas REALTORS® are dedicated to the communities we serve, and we’ll continue to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey as resources in housing decisions and as advocates on issues concerning property rights.”

A proud, fifth-generation Texan, incoming Chairman of the Board Kaki Lybbert is an agent with Century 21 Judge Fite in Denton. The youngest daughter of a family that was steeped in the construction business, Lybbert obtained her real estate license in 1995 and has been an associate of Century 21 since 1998. Incoming Chairman-Elect Tray Bates is the President and Broker/Owner of Bates Commercial LLC. A third-generation commercial real estate broker, Bates has been providing real estate services from Dallas-Fort Worth to South Texas since 1993. He received the REALTOR® of the Year award from the Corpus Christi Association of REALTORS® in 2009 and served as chairman of that organization in 2011. He is a founding member of the South Texas Commercial Association.

Bulla has more than 20 years of experience as a Texas REALTOR® and a background in banking and construction. She has served the REALTOR® organization on the local, state, and national level in many capacities. Bulla served as a chairman of the Amarillo Association of REALTORS® in 2012, was named Amarillo REALTOR® of the Year in 2013, and has represented TAR as an NAR Director since 2013. She currently serves as the NAR federal political coordinator to Congressman Mac Thornberry.

Immediate Past Chairman Vicki Fullerton is a broker with RE/MAX in The Woodlands & Spring. With more than 35 years of real estate experience, Fullerton has proven to be a committed leader and devoted member of the REALTOR® organization. Nationally, she chaired the 2015 NAR State and Local Campaign Services Committee and currently serves as the NAR federal political coordinator to Congressman Kevin Brady.
