About Me
I lived in Southern California from 1984 until 2021 when we made the move to Gilmer, Texas. My father is a native Texan, so in a sense I’m returning to my roots. In 1988 I married my high school sweetheart, Roberto. We have two adult sons, one of whom also moved to Gilmer with his family.
I worked in the banking industry for several years. I’ve always had a desire to help people, so I became a deputy sheriff for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department where I worked for nearly 10 years. Unfortunately, I was injured on duty and had to retire from the profession I loved. I returned to college and earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and then went on to law school and earned my doctorate degree in jurisprudence. After passing the California Bar examination, I became a deputy district attorney for the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office. I quickly learned that the criminal justice system in California was not what it once was. It became evident that California was no longer the state I once knew and loved, so we moved to Texas.
My husband is also retired from law enforcement. We enjoy competitive shooting, cooking, and traveling together. I enjoy the outdoors, movies, reading, decorating, junking, and hanging out with friends.
I am a member of the community engagement team for the Credit Union of Texas in Gilmer, and we attend New Beginning Baptist Church.
My desire for helping people has not changed. Whether you’re selling or in the market for your dream home, I feel blessed to have the opportunity to serve you and your family with the honesty and integrity you deserve.
