About Me

Tom comes to Purple Pig Realty with over 40 years of experience in the home building and appraisal business. He gained extensive knowledge of the real estate market in Sabine County during his twenty-four years working at the Sabine County Appraisal District where he retired as Chief Appraiser. He and his son Thomas started Purple Pig Realty as a PBC (Public Benefit Corporation) in the Austin area and Tom has now relocated the business to the East Texas area of Hemphill.Purple Pig Realty’s motto has always been, “Realty with a Purpose”. Now an LLC, the company currently will give a portion of its commission to a 501(c)(3) charity in the local community chosen by a buyer or seller represented by Purple Pig Realty. Therefore, Purple Pig Realty helps to improve our community.Tom earns the respect of his clients by working tirelessly on their behalf and always offering them candid advice. Tom feels it is important to constantly communicate and be accessible. He and his wife Cindy have been happily married for 45 years, raising 4 children and currently have 12 grandchildren.
