About Me
I live in Commerce, TX with my husband, John. I have one son, Zane, who is currently in college. I have a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science in Education from Texas A&M University-Commerce. I worked for Texas A&M University-Commerce for over 24 years in several positions. My last position was the Director of Corporate and Community Relations, where I worked with local and surrounding communities and counties to build relationships to connect us all together. It was an amazing job that allowed me to meet so many wonderful people around the area.
In 2009 I finally decided to leave the University and pursue a new chapter in my life — teaching. After several years of teaching, I decided to retire from the Texas Teacher Retirement System and enjoy life and take care of my parents. Well, retirement just isn’t for some people, and apparently, I’m one of them. I wanted a career that I am passionate about, and it didn’t take me long to realize I need to be in real estate. So I have started another chapter!
I served on the Commerce City Council for 12 years, and during this time I gained insight into the needs of our community as well as surrounding communities. Therefore, my husband and I want to start bringing new life to old homes and what better way to do that than with a career real estate.
