About Me

Melinda Gordon brings 30 plus years of business experience to Bernstein Realty. She had the pleasure of working in her family owned commercial real estate and retail business in a variety of areas. The areas that she always gravitated to were, negotiations, analysis, and the management of the commercial real estate. The commercial real estate division ran across Houston, this plus the fact that she is a native Houstonian, has Melinda very comfortable in many communities of the city. She gained a wealth of knowledge from these avenues which naturally led her to residential real estate after her and her husband bought and sold a handful of homes starting back in 1991.

Melinda prides herself as extremely hardworking, honest and ethical agent. She is always thinking about what she can do for her client to make the transaction easier. She has a keen attention to detail and loves to analyze to make the picture clear to all involved.

When not working, Melinda enjoys time with her wonderful husband of 30+ years and her three amazing children and dog Coconut. She loves spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies are yoga, and cooking. She is a member of the Bellaire Business Association as well as serving as a volunteer at Congregation Emanu El. She and her husband enjoy doing things around Houston, boating, going to and watching the Astros, well as traveling when time allows!

Melinda is a member of the Houston Association of Realtors®, Texas Association of Realtors®, and National Association of REALTORS®. She has received the SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) and ABR(Accredited Buyer’s Representative) accreditation and has become a Social Media Pro as well. In 2022, she was Achievement of Excellence/Top 5 PRODUCING AGENT. In 2021, she was THE TOP PRODUCING AGENT, Achievement of Excellence, Top Sales Buyer’s Agent, and had the Largest Production Increase for Bernstein Realty. In 2020, she earned Bernstein Realty. Achievement of Excellence/TOP 5 PRODUCING AGENT, as well as she, was named in Houston Agent Magazine’s Who’s Who, 2021 and 2020 she was awarded top leasing agent, and in 2018 she was awarded the Shining Star award.
