As President of the Bastrop Board of Realtors and the broker and owner of Centum Oak Realty, I have leveraged my extensive experience in the real estate industry to foster collaboration and drive strategic initiatives. My background includes working closely with community partners, such as the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce, where I’ve established strategic alliances to enhance participation in local events. With a Bachelor of Science degree from Sam Houston State University and a commitment to communication, transparency, and growth, I consistently strive to elevate the real estate profession and create meaningful opportunities for our members.

About Me

Originally from just outside Huntsville, TX, James has been in Bastrop since 2011 after graduating from SHSU with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice. James worked for the State of Texas directly after college before becoming a full time realtor.

Outside of real estate, he and his husband enjoy spending time at their local ranch with their dog, Chip, as well as travelling to see the beautiful U.S. National Parks.

James is active in the community of Bastrop, serving on the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce Board. James prides himself on building a relationship with his clients and making sure that they receive the highest quality experience during and after each transaction he is involved in.
