About Me

Melissa McAnelly understands that successful real estate transactions don’t just happen. “The keys to any successful real estate
transaction are excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills,” Melissa observes. “Throughout my career in
sales and marketing, I have always put the greatest value on my relationships with my clients. By working diligently to earn and
retain their trust, listening carefully to their needs, devoting whatever time it takes to check out every detail of their transaction,
and always following up, I have developed a loyal client base.”
Born in New Orleans, Melissa grew up in Houston’s River Oaks and Memorial Villages. She’s welcomed the city’s ongoing
transition into a cosmopolitan and international business hub, a dynamic shift that has fed her passion for the exciting
variety of neighborhoods and home designs. “My thorough knowledge of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods is a great
foundation for my business and a decided bonus for my buyers and sellers.”
Now a resident of Westhaven Estates, Melissa attended The Kinkaid School and graduated from the University of Texas with a
degree in advertising and communications. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Tulane University. A believer
in supporting her community, Melissa is an active member of the American Heart Association Guild of Houston, the Houston
Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi, and is a Life Member of the Greater Houston Partnership.
Melissa loves to stay active and works out regularly. A devotee of travel and exploring new places, she enjoys cooking, usually
new recipes inspired by her travels — but, the best times are long walks with her dog.
