I graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas in May 1990 with a BBA in Business Management and real estate license. Shortly after graduation, I got married and worked at a local bank for 3 years until I went into teaching. I obtained my teaching and administration certifications then retired after 28 years in education. While teaching, my husband and I managed up to 20 properties for approximately 20 years. I kept my license current and used my experience with residential rental property to help better my knowledge in the field of real estate. After retiring from education in May 2021, I went into full time residential real estate in July 2021 representing both buyers and sellers. I have obtained my PSA designation and continue to further my education in the field of real estate to continue fostering growth as an agent.

About Me

I have a wide variety of experience in real estate and dealing with people. My property management experience paired with years of dealing with people made switching over to residential real estate an easy transition. I work well with multiple types of people and pride myself in great communication skills. I get my energy from being around people and enjoy serving others.

I grew up in the Texas panhandle and graduated high school from Spearman, Texas. I moved to Waco in August 1986 as a freshman at Baylor University. Right after graduation, in 1990, I married my husband, Dean, who is a native of Waco. We have two grown daughters who are now grown, flown, and on their own. We are now empty nesters with an adorable and spoiled cat.

My husband and I are beekeepers and enjoy an active lifestyle. We like selling honey, making jelly from our wild mustang grapes in the backyard, working in the yard and around the house, going to movies and traveling. I like to bake and decorate fancy sugar cookies, read, garden, propogate plants, visit wineries, and spend time with friends.

I am a Christian and attend Renew Church Waco regularly and am an active member in many of their activities.

I enjoy serving others and strive to be a person of high integrity, loyalty, and honesty. I want to have a relationship with my clients which lasts far beyond the closing table.
