James Fomby is the Founding Broker and Owner of Stonebriar Realty Group in Frisco, TX. James is a native Texan and a resident of the Frisco area since 1988. He attended public schools in Odessa, graduated from Angelo State University in 1988, and was employed in the foodservice industry (10 years) and tax software industry (11 years) prior to establishing his Real Estate career in 1999. In his 23+ years in Real Estate, James has assisted several hundred individuals and families make great decisions with their Real Estate needs with his experience with all facets of Residential Real Estate, vast knowledge of the area, and dedication to exceptional personal service.

James Fomby is the Founding Broker and Owner of Stonebriar Realty Group in Frisco, TX. As a 31+ year resident of Frisco, James has been extensively involved and engaged in the community in a variety of roles. He has served in many capacities with the Frisco Independent School District including five Citizen’s Bond Committees; multiple terms as a member of the District Improvement Team, District Advisory Council, Campus Improvement Teams at Curtsinger and Dr. Pink Elementary Schools and Centennial High School 2011-2016; Frisco Education Foundation Board of Directors and Board Secretary 2002-2011 and Foundation Advisory Board 2019-Present; and Campaign Treasurer for the 2017 Tax Ratification Election and the 2018 Bond Election and Tax Ratification Election. James was also a dedicated and involved Frisco ISD parent while his two adult children were Frisco ISD students 2000-2018 and are now both college graduates. James is also a member of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce and a long-time member of the Frisco Community Band.
