Texas REALTOR®: Forreste Markowitz

Forreste Markowitz is a native Houstonian who grew up in Bellaire. She fondly remembers the “small town” feeling she and her neighbors had in the City of Homes.

She went to school at the University of Texas at Austin and obtained a degree in Journalism. She and her husband, Scott raised their twins in Meyerland and Forreste is proud to say that she was a 1986 Bellaire grad and the twins, Max and Brandon were 2016 Bellaire grads.

Forreste became a real estate agent in 2007 and became a broker in 2010 so she could run her own comps and list her own properties. She flipped several homes in the Houston area and helped other investors do the same.

In addition to flipping homes, Forreste has sponsored agents, helped clients find the perfect home or investment, managed real estate brokerages, performed transaction coordination and managed a few rental homes on her own.

In May of 2020, Forreste joined eXp after being shown the powerful tools the company could offer. She is very excited to see how far her career can grow with the support and collaboration that she has found with her teammates and the eXp staff.
