I earned my bachelor’s degree in journalism from Texas A&M University and in 2003, earned my master’s degree in Public Policy and a master’s from the Mayborn Institute of Journalism at the University of North Texas. I relocated to Austin to accept the position of public affairs coordinator for the Travis County Medical Society. I coordinated fundraising support and acted as legislative liaison for physicians at the city, county, state, and federal levels. Collaborating with key political figures, I was instrumental in shaping policy favorable to the medical society during the 79th legislative session. In January 2006, I joined the TAR Field Rep team and have enjoyed every minute. Whether we are working hard to elect REALTOR® friendly legislators or keeping members informed of positive REALTOR® legislation, I’ve worked with a great team.
