Leslie A. Glick | Co-Chair of the International Trade and Customs Specialty, Shareholder Practicing in Butzel Long’s Washington, D.C. Office

Leslie Alan Glick is a Shareholder practicing in Butzel Long’s Washington D.C. office and is co-chair of the International Trade and Customs Specialty Team.  Les has extensive experience in the areas of international trade and customs law. He has handled major international trade cases before the U.S. International Trade Commission, the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, and the Court of International Trade, including numerous antidumping and countervailing duty cases, and unfair trade practice investigations under section 232(national security) and 337(intellectual property) of the trade laws. In addition, he has handled cases arising under the U.S. Customs laws involving classification, valuation, country of origin marking and customs fraud, and gray market and supply chain security issues (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism).

His knowledge and unique overview have led him to present expert testimony before Congress on issues regarding U.S.-Mexico trade including the North America Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), transportation and logistics, international finance, and U.S. immigration reform.

With 32 years of working at the McAllen Economic Development Corporation and McAllen Foreign Trade Zone, Keith Patridge has a great deal of experience in assisting companies with their start-up operations in either McAllen, TX or Reynosa, MX.  He has worked with Global companies planning a strategic move or expansion to service their industry from a cost competitive market. Mr. Patridge and his team maintain a strong international relationship with Mexico and work closely with Mexican officials in Reynosa and Tamaulipas, to attract new investment, develop infrastructure, enhance workforce education and training, and promote the construction of worker housing.

Tom Long is the Chief Development Officer for the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation in San Antonio, TX. He holds a Master’s Degree in Economic Geography from the University of North Carolina and has over 30 years in economic development, working in both the private and public sectors for local government, utilities, chambers of commerce and private economic development organizations in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas.
