A new version of the Information About Brokerage Services (TXR 2501, TREC IABS 1-2) form was effective January 1. The updated form reflects changes to agency law, including a non-representation status and written agreement requirements, and removes references to subagency from The Real Estate License Act.

All Texas REALTORS® forms vendors, including zipForm, have the updated version. Are you using the correct version on your website, emails, and social accounts?

How to Create a Link to the Revised Form

• Go to texasrealestate.com.
• Open the Information About Brokerage Services form.
• Fill out the PDF and save it to your computer.
• Upload the completed PDF to cloud-based storage, like Dropbox, OneDrive, or Google Drive.
• Create a hyperlink to share the PDF.
• Use that link in your emails, social media accounts, and other places where you want to include the IABS form.
