Building opened across from the Capitol in 1989

The Texas REALTORS® Board of Directors approved a project to modernize the association’s building in 2026. The project will be funded entirely from the association’s reserve fund, with no dues increase or reduction in member services or benefits.

The revamped building will prioritize flexible meeting spaces for member events and advocacy activities, such as gatherings with elected officials and industry partners.

“This project modernizes our association’s flagship asset, transforming our 37-year-old building into a modern space that enhances our advocacy impact, staff productivity, and member engagement,” said Jef Conn, Chairman of the Building Oversight Committee.

The project is scheduled to commence this spring and be completed prior to the Texas Legislature convening in January 2027.
