The Bed Bug Addendum (TAR 2013) is a new form created for the exclusive use of Texas REALTORS®. Property managers can use it with the existing Residential Lease (TAR 2001) to set forth policies and a tenant’s responsibilities if bed bugs are discovered on the property.

The addendum covers the condition of the property and the tenant’s personal belongings, the notice required of a tenant should bed bugs be suspected, what the tenant must do if the presence of bed bugs is confirmed, and the tenant’s liability and indemnification of the landlord.
