This course is designed to explore the kinds of contracts, forms and best practices that should absolutely be in a licensee’s CRE toolkit for a sale/purchase transaction. In this class, there is an assumption that students already have a very basic understanding of CRE terms like expense reimbursements, gross leases and reconciliations. While largely associated with lease transactions, those basic concepts are part of the sales process, too. Divided into 4 specific parts, each section of class is focused on a particular aspect of the commercial sale transaction – considering both the seller’s and buyer’s perspectives – with bonus materials included to bolster a student’s CRE skillset.
