The Texas REALTOR® Strike Force Award is given to individual Texas REALTORS® who show extraordinary dedication to grassroots advocacy in support of the association’s positions, election activity, or TREPAC- and RPAC-supported candidates.

The prestigious Grassroots Advocate of the Year Award is the association’s highest recognition for outstanding grassroots activism. There is no separate application process; receiving a Strike Force Award automatically places a member into consideration for the honor. At the end of each year, Political Involvement Committee leadership selects finalists from that year’s Strike Force Award recipients and, at its discretion, may add individuals with a sustained record of grassroots activism. The full PIC then votes to select the Grassroots Advocate of the Year, who is recognized at the Government Affairs Forum during the Texas REALTORS® Winter Meeting each February. Nominations are accepted year-round.
