What’s the first app you should download when you get a new smartphone? Technology expert David Pogue says it should be Google Maps. 

Pogue encourages users to take advantage of all of the app’s practical tools, like a comprehensive search, instant contact information for nearby businesses, and turn-by-by directions that help you avoid traffic congestion.
