When the 85th Texas Legislature convenes tomorrow, 150 state representatives and 31 senators will gather at the Texas Capitol to plot the course of the state—including issues affecting the real estate industry and private property rights. The Texas Association of REALTORS® reads every bill that passes through the chambers and advocates on your behalf, but knowing the basics of how the Texas Legislature works makes you an informed citizen and an effective ambassador for your industry and business.
