One of the first things I look at as a broker when an agent tells me that they can’t grow their volume over $2m is their budget for marketing.  It’s almost never enough, as borne out by this stats above.  I think it’s irresponsible to take a listing without the funds in the bank to pay for the marketing necessary to sell that listing.  Every agent I know selling over $10m has a very healthy marketing budget.

Thanks for the information. I don’t think it changes how we do business, but it is nice to have statistics to back up info we give a client.
