News from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) continues to be positive for residential construction. Spending on multifamily construction is breaking records, according to the NAHB, and October saw a 2.8% increase in single-family residential construction. In total, private residential construction spending grew to nearly $473 billion in October. Residential construction employment is also trending upward.

Make sure you’re prepared to take advantage of future increases in new home inventory.  If you have a client looking at new construction, use these tips to help protect your commission
