How many features are included in your zipForm benefit? Too many to count. But here are three tips that you might not be aware of:

Attach photos to your forms
You can add photos to any form in zipForm Plus or zipForm Mobile by uploading them with the Attach Photo feature in the quick tools—the buttons sitting above your forms. (You may have to click More to see the photo-attachment option.)

Once the upload is complete, a “Photo” annotation appears atop the form. You can click and drag that annotation to the relevant section, but the actual image and caption will append to the last page of the form.

Customize task reminders in zipTMS
The task-notification settings in zipTMS allow you to decide when and how you want to be reminded about deadlines and other to-dos.

  1. Open zipForm and click on your name in the upper right corner, and select View Profile.
  2. Choose Notifications from the left menus.
  3. Change your settings in the bottom box, Notify me when tasks are due.
    • Check the Block Email Notification and Block App Notification boxes to stop receiving any notifications.
    • Check Block App Notification to only receive email notifications.
    • Check Block Email Notification to only receive notifications within zipForm.
  4. Use the next set of boxes to choose when you want to receive notifications.

Get email notifications about e-signatures
If you’re not receiving email notifications from DocuSign or Digital Ink when someone electronically signs one of your documents, check your settings in zipForm Plus:

  • From zipForm, click your name in the upper right corner.
  • Click the View Profile button.
  • Select the Notifications button from the left menu.
  • In the Esignature Notifications box, uncheck the box next to Block in App Notification.
  • Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to preserve any changes.

If you follow these steps but you’re still having problems, contact zipForm support at support.zipform.com or 800-383-9805. Phone support is available 24 hours a day during the week and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. CST on weekends.

File, print to pdf.

Stephanie Meadows on 05/14/2016

I had the same problem but Lana Adler walked me they the process. Downloading CUTE PDF has been a life saver! It’s free. There are a couple of extra programs that try to download with it but just click cancel when it asks. Once downloaded simply “print” the documents to Cute PDF and it flattens the document to permanently include the signatures. It will give you an option to save the document wherever you choose. That document can then be sent WITH the signatures on it.

When I try to email a signed document the signature disappears. Print, scan, email is very inconvenient.

I also have trouble with the signatures disappearing. Sometimes it’s the entire documents and other times it’s one page. It’s very frustrating in this market when you have to move so fast to get an offer over and you get a call from the listing agent saying your contract is blank. I know it depends on the browser that you open the document in, some know to try a different browser. Can it be fixed to open in all browsers and not have the signatures disappear? Doc U sign doesn’t seem to have this problem.

I’ve had difficulty numerous times in sending digital ink to clients.  It gets lost somewhere and I have to resend and resend.  What am I doing wrong?

Lana Adler on 03/18/2016

You bet.  Call me if you need me to walk you through it! smile

Stephanie on 03/18/2016

Thank you so much! I will try that.

Lana Adler on 03/18/2016

go to the document. Find the arrow with the drop down box, choose print, in the print window, change the printer to “save as pdf” name it and save it to your desk top. Then it is a solid pdf document. Hope this helps. Call me if you need assistance 936-499-0827

Stephanie… When saving your document you can add “.pdf” to the end of the name portion and it will save as pdf.

Lana Adler on 03/18/2016

Stephanie, you can print it as a pdf, upload it and the esign feature.

Stephanie on 03/18/2016

Is there a way in zip forms plus to save a signed document in pdf form so it will still show the signature? When I try to email a signed document the signature disappears. I have to print, scan, email which is very inconvenient when you are on the road.
