Mortgage broker versus bank loan officer

If you are looking to buy a home, you are probably in the market for a home loan as well. It’s important to know the difference between a mortgage broker and a bank loan officer. Mortgage brokers are paid a fee to bring lenders and borrowers together, while bank loan officers sell and process loans and mortgages originated by the lending institution that employs them.
