Dear George: I left my husband. A week after I moved out of our home, he put it on the market. Can he sell the house without my permission?

Answer: If it's the homestead of husband and wife, he cannot sell it without your written agreement. Contact his listing broker and remind him that your signature is also required on the listing. The one exception would be if your husband owned the house as his own separate property. Consult a divorce attorney to protect
your rights.

Dear George: Can I raffle off my house?

Answer: Unless you are a qualified charity, no.
